crazy, over the top, full to the brim fun. The last of the litter just rolled out of the drive headed to Houston. One glance around tells this happy hostess that there is little time to spare before the work week starts! A lot of the decorating was done the day after Thanksgiving, as it the custom, but there is much more to do.

Today the hubby and I will do dinner and a movie and pick up the last few things I suddenly realize I just MUST have to finish the decorating. *Insert huge, you-have-to-be-kiddin'-grin. Hope your Thanksgiving was all you hoped it would be and more. I'll check back in later.

Kudos to you Miss Laura Beth! It sounds like you've done it up right, girl. If memory serves, you have one hundred of more houses? I think going sans lights was brilliant. As for you, Amy Joy, (that's what we call her, Laura Beth, I betcha she'd let you, too), you deserve a rest after that trip. I understand it is snowing there? Make some hot cocoa when you wake up and slip into the decorating ever so slowly. That's my suggestion.

Well, we just made it home from our trip to Louisiana for Thanksgiving, so I haven't even so much as gotten the boxes out to start decorating. I'm in need of a long nap before I try to tackle that...

I still have quite a bit of decoratin' to do. The outside is done, one tree is done and I will finish the bannister tonight. The houses are all out...I am going to skip putting the lights in them...takes too darned long. The big tree is in the house...tomorrow, we will put the lights on and decorate...then I'm done....
